Chicken producer Inghams Enterprises hires Investec to find buyer

By Paul McBeth July 16 (BusinessDesk) - Inghams Enterprises, Australia's biggest poultry producer, has hired Investec Bank to find a buyer for its business. The 94-year-old company's sole shareholder Bob Ingham has decided to sell the business, Inghams said in a statement. Investec will manage the process of identifying a suitable bidder for the company, which has annual sales in excess of A$2 billion, in a process which is expected to take several months.
