The government watchdog wants to see more transparency with regards to the $74.1 billion in funding "set aside" for the covid response and recovery fund.Auditor general John Ryan said current legislative financial reporting requirements aren't adequate to provide the public with sufficient information about expenditure under the fund, and the "potential implications for the crown's financial position". In a letter to Treasury, Ryan said while there had been some reporting improvements in respect of specific fund...
