Mystery positive covid test being investigated on Stewart Island

Health officials are trying to work out how someone returned a possible positive covid-19 test on Stewart Island.The health ministry’s best guess at this stage is the indeterminate test result was a false positive as it was followed by negative test. Follow up testing results are expected later today.
