Complaints about banks nearly doubled in the last year

Complaints about banks are rising with nearly one-in-five Kiwis having a problem in the past year, up from 11% in 2020, according to a survey by Consumer NZ.But TSB Bank topped the list for good service for a second consecutive year in the survey of 2,000 New Zealanders aged 18 and over and conducted online in April and May.Poor customer service was the most common complaint and ASB Bank and Bank of New Zealand, which are respectively owned by Commonwealth Bank of Australia and National Australia, copped the most criticism from customers for th...
