Dairy product prices slip as greater supply weighs on whole milk powder

By Margreet Dietz Oct. 3 (BusinessDesk) - Dairy product prices declined at the Global Dairy Trade auction as whole milk powder sustained its downward trend amid greater supply. The GDT price index fell 1.9 percent from the previous auction two weeks ago. The average price was US$2,901 a tonne, compared with US$2,934 a tonne two weeks ago.
