New Zealanders are rightly following the US elections this week very closely. Most of us don’t get to vote, but the outcome will probably impact all of us in some way.  Exporters will feel the effects quicker than most. There could be implications for financial markets and the value of the NZ dollar.  Chinese products could well be displaced from the US and impact some of our other markets.
