Anna Breman has been appointed the next governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.Breman is the first deputy governor of Sweden’s central bank.“Breman comes to New Zealand with an impressive blend of technical skills and organisational leadership experience,” Finance Minister Nicola Willis said. Breman said she was “deeply honoured” to be appointed. She replaces Adrian Orr, who abruptly resigned last March as he wanted more funding for the central bank than the Government was willing to provide.
