The biggest port in the country is forecasting significant supply chain issues in the event of a widespread omicron outbreak.With cases already in the community, some modelling has suggested New Zealand could have thousands of infections a day by March.As has been the case overseas, this will likely have a major impact on supply chains due to the number of workers either sick or isolating as close contacts.
