Former Reserve Bank of New Zealand governor Adrian Orr has been appointed to the Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund board. As former RBNZ governor and chief executive of the Guardians of NZ Superannuation Fund, Orr “brings extensive experience in financial governance and investment management,” the Cook Islands National Superannuation Fund board (CINSF) said in a statement.Orr abruptly resigned as Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) governor in March this year.
