Staff expenses at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand jumped 24% in the year to June 30 and numbers continued to climb, while former governor Adrian Orr cashed in on a restraint of trade payment. The bank’s operating revenue was $987 million while total expenses were $231m, up from $182 million in the prior year, it said.Staff expenses were $117m versus $94m in the prior year.
