RBNZ to cut more than 20% of its workforce

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is looking to cut 142 roles, a central bank spokesperson confirmed.The Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) had 660 employees as of January this year.“The RBNZ is currently progressing through the third and final phase of our structure design and implementation process. This phase included a formal consultation with the wider organisation.” The spokesperson said the RBNZ recognises this is an “uncertain time for our people” and it is committed to handling this process with care and consideration...
