The receivers of a group of automobile businesses are tracking down cars that were moved to third-party lots before the insolvency.Mohammed Jan, of Liquidation Management, was appointed liquidator of Auto Trading, Auto Compliance & Repairs and Vehicle Direct by shareholders on Sep 4, with initial reports showing $5.7 million owing in total.After an application by Westpac New Zealand, Kare Johnstone and Andrew Grenfell of McGrathNicol were appointed receivers on Sept 9 to chase $3.1m linked to a general security agreement (GSA) from 2018.The...
