The Reserve Bank of New Zealand is optimistic about the level of interest in the central bank governor role following Adrian Orr's abrupt resignation before the end of his term. “We are pleased with the level of interest in the role,” a spokesperson for the Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) said. The deadline for expressions of interest was Friday, June 13.It declined to provide specific numbers because the “governor appointment process is confidential”, but confirmed there was international interest in the role.Or...
