Regional Development Minister Shane Jones says he is “keen as mustard” to explore options to keep Ruapehu district’s troubled mills open.This comes as mayors from the Central North Island met with Prime Minister Christopher Luxon and Jones on Thursday at the Local Government New Zealand (LGNZ) conference in Wellington to discuss the region's troubled economy.
