Annual inflation has cooled but sticky domestic inflation might keep rates cuts off the table until 2025.March quarter data showed that annual inflation was 4% versus 4.7% in the December quarter, still well above the central bank's target range of 1% to 3%.  The consumer price index (CPI) lifted 0.6% on quarter. Domestically driven non-tradeable inflation remained high at an annual 5.8%.
