Health New Zealand, which has been under heavy scrutiny regarding its financial position, is embarking on a global search for a chief executive.The current CEO, Fepulea’i Margie Apa, has been in the role since 2021 when Health NZ (HNZ) was established to replace the 20 district health boards.Her contract is due to expire on June 25 this year.In a statement to BusinessDesk, Lester Levy, the commissioner at Health NZ since last July, said the organisation had a search process under way for a CEO that he expected to conclude within thre...
