The owner of Manuka Doctor has taken a minority stake in the New Zealand Breakers, quietly snapping up a 3% shareholding in the basketball team.Matthew Pringle, owner of the honey-based skincare brand, acquired shares in the National Basketball League (NBL) outfit in February, Companies Register filings show. Pringle, whose honey business has been promoted by celebrities including Kourtney Kardashian, is understood to be friends with the Breakers’ American owner, Matt Walsh.Manuka Doctor has backed the Breakers as a sponsor...
