Listed agribusiness Seeka has uncovered up to $350,000 in fraudulent invoices from contractors and dismissed an employee involved, the company’s chief executive says.The kiwifruit and avocado supplier said in a statement to the NZX on Friday that it had detected a series of invoicing irregularities in the company.Authorities notifiedThese were being investigated with the assistance of independent forensic accountants.The total cost of the fraud was less than $350,000, with a $200,000 impact on current-year earnings, the statement said.The...
