A partial solution to New Zealand gas and energy shortfall is literally being thrown into rubbish dumps, says a biogas producer.Andrew Fisher, managing director of EcoStock Supplies and EcoGas, said the company was now capable of manufacturing biogas at scale from feedstock such as food waste and other products.Biogas is a drop-in replacement for natural gas and can flow through the gas network and be used by appliances and industrial without technical adaptations.The company’s first large-scale food waste-to-bioenergy facility at Reporoa...
