Transpower says it has received interest from other parties in taking over its unwanted subsidiary emsTradepoint, which runs the only wholesale gas trading platform in the country.The state-owned enterprise surprised much of the energy sector last week when it said emsTradepoint (EMS) was no longer considered core business and would close in September.EMS started gas trading to try to improve price transparency in a market where almost all trades are done in bilateral deals between gas producers and users.
