The rush to install grid-scale solar is continuing with Genesis Energy and Lodestone Energy announcing the acquisition of advanced-stage sites for development.Genesis said it had secured an advanced-stage consented site near Edgecumbe in the Bay of Plenty. The site is expected to start generating electricity in 2026 with a peak output of 127 megawatts  (MWp)The agreement with New Zealand-based developer Helios Energy is expected to go unconditional in the second quarter of the 2025 financial year.It will be wholly owned by Genesis, which w...
