ANZ hikes deposit rates, hikes mortgage rates more

Term depositors with ANZ Bank are getting some relief in the form of better returns but the bank is slugging its mortgage customers harder.The bank is raising all its fixed-term mortgage rates by 45 basis points with the six-month rate rising from 4.15% to 4.6% and its "special" six-month rate rising from 3.55% to 4%.Similarly, the two-year rate is rising to 4.3% and the "special" two-year rate to 3.7% while the five-year rate is rising to 5.34%.The special rates are available to anybody with at least a 20% deposit or equity...
