A whistleblower at the BNZ who was found to have been mistreated after making a protected disclosure has been awarded more than $500,000 by the Employment Relations Authority.But it is not the end of the road for Melissa Bowen, who won a landmark ruling in 2024.Employment Relations Authority (ERA) member Peter van Keulen said last year that the bank acted in an unjustified manner through retaliation after she made a protected disclosure, breached good faith, and was later unjustifiably dismissed.Bowen had made protected disclosures in 2016...
