Heartland offers 2.5% floating mortgage rate

Heartland Group has dropped its floating home loan rate to 2.5 percent, beating its own already low 2.95 percent rate, and is throwing in a $750 sweetener.Fund manager and mortgage lender Simplicity offers the lowest floating rate at 2.25 percent, followed by Heartland's offering.
