Kiwibank raises mortgage and deposit rates

Kiwibank is raising a raft of fixed-term mortgage rates by between 29 and 54 basis points (bp) and raising term deposit rates by between 5 and 55bp.The government-owned bank's biggest hike is in its six-month standard rate, which is rising from 4.3% to 4.84% while its "special" six-month rate for those with at least a 20% deposit is rising by 44bp to 3.99%.The smallest increase is in the two-year fixed rate, which is rising by 29bp to 3.59% for the special rate and the standard rate is rising by the same amount to 4.44%.The bank i...
