Port of Auckland will pay a $45 million dividend to Auckland Council after selling its nearly 20% stake in Marsden Maritime Holdings.The port agreed to sell its shares to a consortium made up of Northland Regional Council, Port of Tauranga and the Ngāpuhi investment fund, Tupu Tono.The consortium delisted Marsden Maritime Holdings from the NZX and brought it and Northport together under a common ownership structure: Northport Group Limited.In a statement on Thursday, Port of Auckland (POAL) confirmed it would pay out the $45m as a special divid...
