Subcontractors owed thousands after working on a Queenstown residential development say the contractor behind the project is going to extreme lengths not to repay their debts.Triple Connection Limited (TCL) has owed Concept Builders and landscaping business Top Garden more than $200,000 for work on Jade Lake, a housing and visitor accommodation development in Fernhill, Queenstown.The owners of both subcontracting firms said they have spent more than $100,000 each on lawyers’ fees in protracted efforts to claim what they’re owed...
