The Reserve Bank has appointed Paul Conway as chief economist and director of economics.Conway is currently chief economist at the Bank of New Zealand and previously worked for the Productivity Commission.Conway will join the central bank on May 2, replacing Yuong Ha who will be leaving later this month after 25 years with the RBNZ.Ha is one of 10 senior staff out of 26 who have left or are leaving RBNZ."I'm delighted to have Paul join the Reserve Bank.
