RegCo tries to clarify Air NZ rights issue details

Such is the confusion among the broking community and investors about Air New Zealand's rights issue that NZX's regulatory arm has put out a statement to try to clarify the situation.NZ RegCo said it wants to draw the market's attention to the fact that each renounceable right entitles the holder to two new Air NZ ordinary shares and so the about 1.12 billion rights will translate into about 2.25 billion new shares, subject to rounding.RegCo noted that even NZX itself had put out a number of statements on Monday and that there had b...
