Former Transpower head Patrick Strange joins NZX board

By Suze Metherell April 30 (BusinessDesk) - Former Transpower chief executive Patrick Strange has joined the board of the stock market operator, NZX. Strange, who headed up the national electricity grid operator for six years, will join the NZX board as an independent director effective tomorrow, with shareholders approving the appointment at the annual meeting later next month, the Wellington-based company said.
