Under fire Ports of Auckland (POAL) chief executive Tony Gibson has announced he will step down at the end of next month.Gibson, who has been at the port for 10 years and blamed for a culture of 'mistrust and greed' by some unions, said ongoing and sometimes personal attacks had taken the focus off "what was important, delivering change".In paying tribute to his employees, he said the port was a company that seemed to generate the wrong media headlines over port expansion, port location or more recently over safety and congest...
