Hallenstein Glasson’s momentum across the Ditch is continuing as it eyes further expansion for both its brands. In its earnings report for the six months to Feb 1, disclosed to the NZX on Friday, the fashion retailer reported unaudited net profit after tax (npat) of $21.2 million, 0.3% up on the same period last year. Profits fell within the firm's narrow $21m to $21.3m guidance range provided in January. A 40-basis point contraction in gross margin offset a 7.7% sales increase to $240m. Group chief executive Chris...
