The New Zealand Nurses Organisation wants to force the government to uphold its initial commitment to backpay in the historic $520 million pay equity deal and is asking the Employment Relations Authority (ERA) to intervene.The nursing association has struggled to get the government to honour a 2020 agreement that each employee would receive backpay based on new rates.
