Southern Cross Healthcare is going paperless via the cloud

Southern Cross Healthcare wants the patient records of its hospitals and health centres to be completely paperless within the next two years.Chief digital officer Trevor Delany told BusinessDesk the organisation is working with Orion Health to have its paperless patient record system completed as soon as possible.“The people and paper-dependent practices in probably most hospitals, both domestically and internationally, is a real constraint to truly effective health care.”The private health provider, which operates and owns ten hosp...
