The Auckland International Airport is pushing back against the government’s rent relief measures, suggesting proposed changes to property law need to be more targeted for tenants that really need it.Chair Patrick Strange said the airport had already paid more than $185 million in relief to its retail and hospitality tenants over the past financial year, managing to retain 96% of its retail occupants.
