Fletcher Building has announced New Zealand Shareholders’ Association chair Andrew Reding as its new chief executive and managing director, although questions remain around who should chair the struggling building giant. Reding, who was the chief executive of the building products and steel division at Fletcher until 2006, will start as a director on Aug 22, a day after Fletcher announces its 2024-year results. He assumes the role of group CEO and managing director on Sept 30, taking over from acting chief executive Nick Traber....
