Datacom sees rapid shift to digital platforms under covid

The move to introduce digital systems and platforms only got faster under the covid-19 pandemic lockdowns, as firms were forced into new ways of operating, according to IT services firm Datacom. The company had already invested heavily in those in-demand services over the past couple of years, and chief executive Greg Davidson said that’s only going to continue in the current environment, with software-as-a-service and intellectual property two areas where he wants to spend more. “We’ve got some quite ambitious capital plans this year too...
