As part of its deal with the Crown to build housing in inner Christchurch, Fletcher Residential appears to be acquiring land at well below market prices.Fletcher signed a development agreement with the Crown in 2016 after it was announced in 2015 as the preferred developer for the east frame, a post-quake anchor project spanning several blocks.In a press release at the time, Fletcher said it would build about 940 townhouses and apartments in the frame.
