Port of Tauranga board stalwart David Pilkington will retire as chair in July after nine years in the role and nearly 17 years on the board.Pilkington joined the board in 2005 and became its chair in 2013, helping oversee the port's transition to becoming "big ship capable" and into the largest port in New Zealand. The winner of the 2019 Deloitte Top 200 chairperson of the year, Pilkington is a former member of Fonterra's senior executive and is the chair of Rangatira Limited and Douglas Pharmaceuticals.He will be succeed...
