Infratil's CDC investment jumps in value

The value of Infratil's CDC Data Centres business has jumped roughly $500 million over the past three months as the investment firm defends itself from a takeover bid.Last month Infratil rejected a $5.37 billion takeover bid from AustralianSuper saying the offer was unsolicited and undervalued the company.Today it told the NZX that an independent valuation of Australian-based CDC Data Centres at Dec 31. 2020 indicates a “significant increase” in the value of Infratil’s investment in CDC since Sept 30.Infratil’s 48.1...
