While Infratil has invested around the world almost since inception in 1994, it has never invested in Asia until now.Chief executive Jason Boyes told analysts that Infratil's plan to invest US$233 million in Singapore-based Gurin Energy would have been "a dream come true" for founder Lloyd Morrison, who had gotten as far as opening an office in Hong Kong before he died in February 2012.Gurin is Japanese for green, environmentally friendly.Infratil has chosen a path to market that looks far less risky than some of its earlier foray...
