The $280 million film studio proposed on the outskirts of Wānaka has been given the green light by the panel considering its accelerated consent process.The panel approved an application by Silverlight Studios to build a mammoth film park in the small upper Clutha township, with more than 200 conditions attached.The scale of the project surprised locals, spanning 322 hectares, with sound stages, production facilities and replicas of New York, Paris and Venice forming part of a film park that will have about 660 people working there permanently...
