Hydrogen developer Hiringa Energy has secured global trading house Mitsui & Co as a strategic partner for projects in New Zealand. Hiringa is developing a green-hydrogen project at Ballance Agri-Nutrients’ Kapuni plant and plans a network of hydrogen refilling stations. It said the alliance with Mitsui will help speed the development of a domestic industry as the necessary first step toward export-scale activity.
