More cancellations of flights in and out of Wellington are in prospect this afternoon, with gale force winds forecast to persist until early evening. Air New Zealand cancelled most of its flights into and out of the capital this morning due to severe winds, although it has not yet cancelled flights scheduled for this afternoon.
