The Waikato chartered accountant who has admitted wrongdoing following the $306m collapse of property group Du Val is Nicola Ellen Adam, a director of Cambridge firm Herbert Morton.Adam’s name was suppressed by the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) disciplinary tribunal until 5pm on Tuesday, to give the firm time to inform its clients.She pleaded guilty to four charges at a disciplinary hearing in Wellington on Monday.The charges related to her actions after Du Val was put into statutory management in August 2024, whe...
