Auckland startup Neocrete has partnered with eight of the world’s largest cement manufacturers to reduce concrete's carbon footprint. Neocrete was one of four companies chosen from 70 applicants worldwide to run trials with members of the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA). The association, representing 80% of cement and concrete manufacturers outside China, makes about half the world’s concrete.
