OMV details Pohokura output cuts

OMV says maintenance work planned at the Pohokura gas field may reduce daily deliveries by almost a fifth for parts of January and February.The company, which took over as field operator a year ago, had already signalled a two-week shutdown of Pohokura’s onshore processing plant in late March and other inspection work on the field’s offshore pipeline during the first half of 2020.Pohokura, off the Taranaki coast, is the country’s biggest gas field and contributed close to a third of the country’s supplies last year.
