Rail Minister Winston Peters has named Sue Tindal as the new chair of KiwiRail as part of a long-anticipated board refresh at the state-owned rail operator.KiwiRail has had an acting chair, Rob Jager, since the former Westpac NZ chief executive, David McLean, tendered his resignation last June and left in July.A number of other directors also left last year after Finance Minister Nicola Willis, who fronted the cancellation of the Interislander replacement project, called for a board refresh.Willis was also critical of the $8 million spend...
