Rakon chair Bruce Irvine said the board will "consider the matters" raised in a letter from shareholders owning 14 percent asking that the company be put up for sale at a meeting later today. "The letter makes a number of comments and calls for the board to initiate a process to market the company to the international investing community," Rakon told the New Zealand stock exchange in a response to the letter.
