Infrastructure agency Rau Paenga has raised the possibility of helping Antarctica New Zealand with the troubled Scott Base redevelopment project.Antarctica NZ failed to reach commercial terms with its preferred contractor, Leighs Construction, last year, triggering an extensive review process looking at how to deliver the project within its $498 million budget.The Crown entity spent years exploring an option to build three large modular units in Timaru and ship them to Antarctica, but it abandoned the approach this year in favour of a more mode...
